A superb modified, octahedral cuprite crystal from the Emke Mine at Onganja, Namibia. This crystal has been etched out from under a coating of malachite, as a bit of malachite remains and the cuprite faces are pitted. The surfaces retain excellent luster. This crystal is complete-all-around and is pristine. Outstanding classic material from the 1970s. Ex. Carlton Davis Thumbnail Collection.
