A fine, large, horseshoe-shaped cluster of intergrown, beautifully gemmy and lustrous, cherry-red rhodochrosite rhombs set atop a goethite-lined vug from the Uchucchacua Mine of Peru. This piece is accompanied by a small cluster of frosted fluorite octahedrons. The rhodochrosites are wrapped around a goethite stalactite.
