Pink Fluorites are among the most coveted in the world, and this is a good example from the Himalaya Mountain Range, a classic locality in Pakistan. This nearly complete octahedron is GEMMY, has very good luster and a rich, uniform pink color. There is attached Feldspar, and there are included Tourmalines (schorl) that reach up to 3 cm in length. These add greatly to the aesthetics, which are already impressive, and they are clearly seen without any need for strong backlighting because the piece is so unusually gemmy. The specimen is sharp and complete all around, except where the crystal grew from feldspar matrix.
