Spectacular Goboboseb Quartz crystal with wonderful complexity! This sharply formed Quartz crystal has a stacked series of ethereal Amethystine and Smoky phantoms that dominate much of the crystal with parallel oriented veils of what may be tan quartz near the bottom. The top of the Quartz crystal is largely very pale Smoky and then the phantoms start with a subtle Smoky ghost layer, better viewed from the side, then transitions into a series of no less than four Amethyst phantoms. The phantoms are all "complete" and are shaped just like a complete crystal tip, but because they are so thin they can only be seen when viewed along their edges. And if all of this complexity isn't dramatic enough, there is an internal bubble (fluid inclusion) right smack in the center of the piece just under the cathedral Amethyst phantoms! This bubble is quite unique in that it traverses an inverted U-shaped trajectory as one rotes the crystal! This is a superior crystal for this material and is complete all around! Two very tiny, inconspicuous nicks, otherwise pristine. Weight is 119grams. Ex. Shields and Frances Flynn collection with label.
