This is a very large specimen of nearly opaque salmon-pink tourmaline crystals, from collecting way back in the 1930s on Black Mountain in Maine. These long crystals measure to 5.5 cm each, having formed in parallel, in a tiered fashion, in the hard-rock matrix. Both sides of this specimen are nearly covered with these rich crystals. Ex. Elling Collection.
