A 2.7 cm, gemmy and lustrous, golden-amber grossular garnet attractively set in quartz matrix with smaller grossulars from a new find at the Kaiiado District of Kenya. This very elongate, dodecahedral crystal has riveting color and luster. Garnet from this locale is very uncommon.
