Sphene Var. Titanite (Twinned)
This sharp, dramatic crystal is obviously twinned, and has unusually good transparency and gemminess throughout. It is a rich LIME GREEN COLOR, whereas most are a pale grass green in hue. It is nearly pristine with just a few very trivial bits of edge wear, only. The twin plane has exceptional glassy, wet-looking luster to it. Superb example from these important finds for the species, most of which trickled out around 1999-2003
