Serandite only occurs in good crystals at this classic Canadian locale, and this particular style of colorful, salmon-flesh-orange crystals with elongated form and the association with golfball-shaped analcime only came once in the late 1970s. They are incredibly rare on the market today! I buy every one I can lay hands on. This piece would be world class example in its size were it not for the termination - which, although not broken per se, is contacted where it grew against something else, and thus irregular in its jagged formation. Nevertheless, it IS complete, and displays very well. An affordable example from this rare pocket. Joe Budd Photos.
