A lovely polychrome elbaite that is glassy and gemmy, this crystal is faintly purple in the lower 2/3 and then grades into a rich, dark red at the termination. The mass is 33 grams. A very old style, with a truly impressive color in person that is hard to convey. Ex Steve Smale collection. Comes with custom lucite base.
