This crystal is doubly-terminated and complete, a floater. However, unlike like most crystals from Sri Lankan gem gravels, it is not rounded on its edges, but is super-sharp, with textbook form. Both ends of the crystal are gemmy: one is colorless, the other a very desirable cornflower blue. Some iron staining in the middle gives a red due in between. Weighs 15 grams. Ex. George Elling Collection.
