Cornetite is prized by collectors for its intense, rich blue-green color and velvety sparkle. Unfortunately, it is not found in quantity and therefore specimens are uncommon, particularly compared to other copper minerals from the Congo. This specimen has the very desirable luster and color that makes cornetite so unique. It is MUCH MORE intense in person than indicated and this comes from a very special pocket of sparkly critters found in 1999. 8.2 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm
