Admittedly not the most beautiful "emerald" you have ever seen, but this is a rare (nowadays) old-timer green beryl from Maine! It is actually quite sharp and well-formed, with the termination intact on one end - and it does have some translucency as well. The crystal measures 4.5 cm.
