A crust of botryoidal, translucent, lustrous, opalescent green, "gem silica" / chalcedony has formed over bright green chrysocolla. The spheres reach 1.3 cm across. This exquisite specimen comes with an old, pre-1940 label from preeminent dealer, Lazard Cahn.
