Grossular
A spectacularly good specimen of RUSSIAN garnet, very uncommon to see for sale, out of the collection of Bill Larson. The close-up shows you just how sharp this superb crystal is, and it is LARGE, too: 2 centimeters from tip to tip! There are some smaller accenting crystals as well. On the back of the matrix are three fine crystals, smaller than the big one on the display face but excellent as well.
