Choice combination piece from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in China. Featured have to be the sharp, hexagonal blades of Pyrrhotite, up to 2.1 cm across, that have been replaced by Pyrite. Between the preserved hexagonal shapes and the golden twinkle of the Pyrite, the floating rosettes and clusters of these blades are quite attractive. The overall composition is greatly enhanced by the quality of the sharp octahedrons of Scheelite, which range up to 1.3 cm on edge and, of course, have excellent fluorescence. An aesthetic and fine Yaogangxian combination piece, this is even better in person by an order of magnitude. VERY RARE miniature combo for this locality!
