Panasquiera is a classic locale for apatite and these gemmy purple, hexagonal crystals exemplify why this has always been the case. The mine is now defunct. This cabinet sized specimen is nice because it features superb, gemmy apatites (to 2 cm) perched on an unusually pristine, and very impressive, quartz cluster. Weighs 490 grams.
