This specimen features a scheelite with the TOP quality color, bright fiery orange. It measures 3.5 cm across, and 3 cm on most edges. It is lustrous - so many have a matte or dull surface, or weak color, but this one is both glassy AND intensely colored. The crystal, as you would expect from a Smale collection piece, is complete all around and 3-ddimensional, without damage. This is an OUSTANDING specimen for the size range and price range! You CANNOT obtain any more specimens of this quality today - recent mining is simply not producing this quality, which came out in the late 90s.
