A stunning small miniature or toenail-sized specimen (large thumbnail!), featuring a very sharp 2-cm-long crystal on a natural pedestal of garnet and matrix. It is very aesthetic and sharp and presents a fabulous display face, though incomplete in back because growth was constrained by matrix and so it is contacted on the back side from that effect. From new finds in a remote part of Iran in late 2013, these premiered at the Tucson show of 2014.
