Dalnegorsk fluorites are notoriously hard to photograph, so they always look better in person than the pics show. At any rate, this specimen is from 2003 mining, and the crystals show the super-complex modifications to the octahedron that characterized the specimens from the Nikolaevsky that year. The crystals are WATER-CLEAR on the interior, with glassy faces; like cut glass! The crystals measure to 1.5 cm and are piled up richly on the matrix. A flashy Dalnegorsk classic, BETTER In PERSON! 9 x 8 x 5.5 cm
