This scheelite crystal on muscovite exhibits classical characteristics you would want in a scheelite from China - a display-quality specimen, without breaking the bank. It is symmetric, aesthetic, colorful, and near pristine (complete all around except a small ding on one corner). It is well formed, glassy and gemmy, with a superb bright orange color. The tetragonal form is plainly evident in the pseudo-octahedral crystallization. The prices on these have gone up as the flow out of China has gone way down since the earthquake in Sichuan where this town is located, back in 2008. This is an old piece, at an old price.
