This is a much finer specimen of ilmenite than the previous specimen because it features a more 3-dimensional crystal yet, on a bit of matrix. It has an equant, pseudo-octahedral, extremely lustrous black crystal, to 3 cm across a single face. Its trigonal crystallography is clearly evident. This is certainly one of the finest around for the locality, on the market, I would expect. In person, it is quite beautiful despite being relegated to the "black uglies" category by most folks. 4.1 x 4.1 x 3.8 cm
