A gem crystal of the very rare, recently discovered-and-described (2002) mineral Pezzotaite, a flat, hexagonal form of red beryl. This upper half of the sharp, 5 g hexagonal crystal is complete, and it is gemmy. Very good color and luster. Ex. Charlie Key.
