One of the new finds from the summer collecting in Bolivia. Augelite is a very rare aluminum hydroxyl phosphate. The only locality in the world that is producing crystals of any significance are the tin mines of Bolivia. These new specimens are some of the best quality, gem/gemmy, aesthetic crystallized display specimens of this species that I have seen in a long time from Bolivia. This thumbnail specimen features several sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals of Augelite measuring up to 8 mm with minor Pyrite on matrix. 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.7cm
