This is one of the richest specimens I know of for large crystals, which came out of this find. It has intense green crystals of huge size and incredibly glassy luster. The main crystal has a perfect termination and is an INCH long (2.5 cm!). However, the surrounding crystals do have damage, and this is reality. Numerous crystals of 1 and 2-cm length to the right side are also fully terminated and so the piece is very significant for the species, if admittedly the best crystals are in a jumble with some massive or damaged atacamite surrounding them (this also protected that major center crystal, too). In person, this is much more dramatic and 3-dimensional as it is hard to photograph due to the depth and reflectivity of the pocket.
