At the 2008 Denver Show, a dealer showed up with a small batch of golden apatites from a new find in Colorado. New finds of gem crystals in Colorado are rare. This is a fat, chunky crystal, translucent-to-transparent (this is the top transparency for the find), with a glassy hexagonal termination. Weighs 36 grams.
