An EXCELLENT, very SHOWY and old-time Butte rhodochrosite specimen with the added pazzazz of a rosette of quartz crystals on one end. The sharp, rose-red rhombs, to 2.2 cm, have good luster and the only damage to the rhombs is on the periphery. Most likely from the Emma or Travona Mines. Very fine material from the Richard Hauck Collection.
