This is a very attractive association specimen from one of the most famous classic Peruvian localities. There are several sharp, lustrous, prismatic, parallel growth crystals of Hubnerite with slender, colorless gemmy Quartz crystals. The finest aspect to this specimen is the fact that when it is backlit, it shows the classic and highly sought after blood-red hue that made these specimens so popular 30 years ago. Ex.
