Cyanotrichite is an uncommon copper silicate found in the oxidation zone of copper ore bodies. This rich and colorful layered specimen has tiny, acicular, radiating, powder-blue cyanotrichite needles with contrasting green malachite and dark blue azurite in gossan matrix. This fine, OLD piece from the famous Grandview Mine of Arizona, which is in the Grand Canyon National Park and you cannot collect from there today. Ex. Chris Korpi Collection.
