5.0 x 3.7 x 3.7cm. A superb cluster of vivid, peacock-blue and green, azurite and malachite crystals from an uncommon locality - Seabra, Bahia, Brazil (early 1990’s). The largest ball-shaped aggregates like this one date to that find, though the locality has produced since larger plates of smaller crystals. The complete all-around specimen is highly unusual, in that the crystals are partially malachite and partially azurite, not one or the other. It is caught in the middle of pseudomorphing. Ex. Michael Jactat Collection.
