A particularly gemmy specimen with window-clear, transparent crystals to 2 cm, on a sparkling matrix covered with tiny quartz. The contrast in light is striking. There are two kinds of great fluorites from this find of the summer of 2017, the gem crystals with paler color and better luster with this modified habit shown here; and the fatter and more deeply colored purple crystals of fluorite generally more cubic habit.
