A gorgeous, gem, 3.8 cm, doubly terminated, color-zoned, amethyst crystal aesthetically perched atop light tan feldspar crystals and very nicely complimented by additional, color-zoned amethyst crystals. Amethyst on crystallized matrix is very rare from any locality. This is from a special one-time find in the Brandberg park area. All of the major amethysts are pristine on this piece.
