Typically the Magnetite crystals from this locality are closely grown together, but this piece has some good isolation between the octahedra. The piece has excellent, sharp, highly lustrous, black, "Alpine-type" octahedra (some are twinned) with Feldspar on matrix. The largest crystal measures 2.5 cm. across! 6.3 x 5 x 4.2 cm
