Beautiful, deep green crust of mm-size Dioptase crystals, on matrix of what might be conichalcite or perhaps duftite (not analyzed). The luster on these crystals is so good, and the color so rich, that this really looks like a piece of glimmering art glass with the sparkly micros atop, contrasting to the matte olive green underneath and showing a mix of color as a result...A really scintillating and aesthetic piece that is much better in person, where you can greatly appreciate the sparkle and the richness. I cannot say that I have seen another specimen quite like it.
