This is a BIG, FAT and juicy tourmaline from Russia, which of course has turned out only a small fraction of the tourmaline specimens produced by more well-known Brazilian and Afghani localities. This deep cranberry is the characteristic color from this locality, known since the late 1700s as "Siberite." It ihas a very fine, complete, sharp termination with super luster. The crystal is complete and undamaged all around, with natural contacts only around the bottom and the back face's lower half. 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm
