A very fine and aesthetic specimen of lustrous, pink inesite crystals to 1.0 cm filling a vug set atop matrix from the Hale Creek Mine in California. For sharp, euhedral crystals, these inesites are unmatched crystallographically by the spiky elongated crystals coming from China and South Africa. Ex. Al McGuinness Collection, a noted California collector and dealer, who passed away in 1990.
