A superb fat crystal of unusual glassiness an transparency for a piece this size, from this locality. Most are much more opaque at this thickness, but here you get full translucency if not quite transparency (i can see the shadow of my hand through it, at least). The color is a classic Stewart Mine "pink" with a hint of neon, a bit brighter than those from the Himalaya Mine. It comes from the noted collection of Dr. Dick Webster, one of the founders of plastic surgery and a major mineral collector several decades ago (label scribbled on the back of one of his business cards, survives with it). This collection just surfaced through his children, to the market, with a friend of mine.
