A large, rich specimen of solid azurite from what is arguably the greatest mineral locality in American history - probably foremost for its azurites. Though this specimen is crystallized only in subtle, small blades across it surface, it shows very bright and rich blue color. You can see some little patches of green malachite here and there, not from pseudomorphing but having grown as a secondary growth on the surface of the azurite.
