Betekhtinite is rare enough here. Bornite crystals of an inch on edge are completely unheard of in my experience, though some to 1/2-inch are seen often enough (or were, rather, in the heyday here as a military mine). This remarkable specimen is a huge crystal of bornite that is altered to the very rare species betekhtinite. It is aesthetic, and complete all around. I have never seen the like
