A really cute Pech, Afghanistan combination specimen. A 3.1 cm, very gemmy and lustrous, pink and green tourmaline crystal, with a colorless termination, is aesthetically set on the side of a water-clear, well-striated, colorless spodumene crystal. The complete all-around spodumene has a textbook chisel termination, with two of the side faces being attractively frosted. A trivial bit of contacting at the base of the spodumene is certainly not a detraction or is barely noticeable. Ex. Laura Thompson collection.
