Corundum (Var: Sapphire)
A 2.5 cm, lustrous, doubly terminated, deep lavender sapphire crystal jauntily set in matrix from Madagascar. The crystal has sharp, stepped growth faces. This is an excellent and very showy specimen, with just a bit of contacting on one termination.
