Galena, Quartz
An extremely impressive HAND-SIZED specimen of galena from Eastern Europe, featuring two very large, tightly intergrown crystals with large, architectural faces. One quartz crystal is embedded along a side face of the specimen, and another is sticking up right through the middle of a face! The galena grew right around it. The galena has a sort of silky, brushed-steel luster.
