Quartz
A STRIKING CABINET specimen from the famous Carrara Marble quarries of Italy. Water-clear, gemmy, Herkimer-style (gem and doubly-terminated) quartz crystals are attractively set in a deep cleft lined with drusy quartz in the grayish-white marble from the Lorano Quarry. The two, large, connected "diamonds" are 1.9 cm.
