This is another rare U.S. azurite specimen out of the collection of Bob Byers, also from Nevada, but from a different mine. It has a spongy appearance, and is composed of solid azurite and malachite, with some rusty limonite adding a color accent. This specimen is notable more as a locality piece than as a great azurite, to be sure, but it actually is not all that bad looking!
