The famous mines at Dal'negorsk, Russia are renowned for their pseudomorphs. This is a SUPERB and AESTHETIC pseudo of green hedenbergite after a FABLUOUS cluster of large, very sharp ilvaite crystals. Complete all around, too! The stepped parallel-growth crystals with the angled, DT crystal on the back really set this super piece off. This pristine and complete all-around specimen is from the collection of Dr. Ed David. This is really an outstanding psuedomorph.
