An old-time, rich and showy silver ore specimen of blocky, euhedral to massive, moderate luster, reddish-black polybasite from an unknown mine in Colorado. Accompanied by an old, faded, expertly handwritten label. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to World War I.
