A large, classic azurite crystal from the Tsumeb Mine. This highly lustrous, tabular, midnight-blue, composite crystal has a chisel termination and each side looks distinctly different. The scattered bit of royal-blue is a very nice accent. This old-time specimen is probably from the upper oxidized zone of the mine. Complete-all-around and striking, this major azurite has only trivial termination wear and a bruised sidecar termination. Ex. John Ydren Collection, who purchased this fine azurite in 1966.
