Nestled aesthetically in a vug of sparkly gray chalcedony stalactites are two large crystals of heulandite, to 4 cm in length. The crystals are lustrous and translucent and exhibit a lovely rose pink color. There are also a few chalcedony coated, colorless calcite rhombs, to 1 cm across. Ex. Steve Smale collection. Although common material in general, this is a special piece even in a crowd.
