Smoky quartz, a hint of pink elbaite, and albite all form the matrix for a doubly terminated, glassy and gemmy, golden calcite crystal measuring 2.8 cm in length. The basal terminations of the calcite crystal exhibit an opaque white surface. Unusual for the locality!
