These "fried-egg" fluorites have always been very popular with collectors - there are just not that many localities that produce botryoidal fluorites and these are smooth, silky and translucent, so they are particularly attractive. The fluorite balls here are nestled in crystalline quartz; the largest ball is 1.6 cm across.
