Description
This is an attractive specimen from one of the best known localities in the United States for Spessartine. This piece features a lovely, sharp, lustrous, very deep red color, "textbook" trapezohedron sitting on Rhyolite matrix. It is virtually damage free and very eye-catching. A classic US Garnet specimen. The Spessartine crystal measures 1.3 cm across.
